Delegate Robert Takagi's Bio

Robert Shigeyoshi Takagi
Sansei

My position as a general manager in the field of public transportation requires a hands on 24/7 work ethic. I take the responsibility for 800+ employees, 300 buses and providing 50,000,000 rides annually very seriously. I received my Masters of Arts degree twenty-five years post B
.A. This was a very satisfying experience for me while working and raising a family.

Giving back to community is a belief I am proud of. Serving on several Boards and volunteering my time with several civic and social agencies is time worth spent.

My family's support is the pillar of my success. My three children know that when we take our family vacation together - we live it to the fullest. This may mean closing the amusement park at Ceder Point, Ohio at midnight and driving seven hours home with only enough money left for tolls and a coffee. Waking the children up at 3AM to catch and release a few Largemouth Bass in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin and back home before noon to have lunch with my wife so we can spend the rest of day together. Watching my children's baseball games,
volleyball games, basketball games, etc. is priceless. Yes- I have to wear my pager and cell phone to the games.
